SAURA
Saura
The Saura were a tribe of Native Americans who lived in the Piedmont area of North Carolina near the Sauratown Mountains, east of Pilot Mountain and north of the Yadkin River. They were believed to have spoken a Siouan language. The modern day Ani-Stohini/Unami people dispute this claiming that except for hearsay, there is no evidence to support a Siouan history in the area. Their language of Tla Wilano is the only Native language still spoken in Virginia. Tla Wilano is said to be related to related to Lenni Lenape, Delaware, and Unami, however research is lacking in this areaThe above text is a snippet from Wikipedia: Saura
