DUMDUM
Dum Dum
Dum Dum is a city and a municipality in North 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India. It is one of the main entry points to the city of Kolkata, providing a number of transportation facilities into that city from the northwest, such as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, formerly Dum Dum Airport, which offers domestic and international flights. Dum Dum has developed into a modern commercial centre and also hosts the Ordnance Factory Dumdum of the Ordnance Factories Board, which manufactures armaments and other equipment for the Indian Armed Forces.
