Dik-dik
A dik-dik is a small antelope in the Genus Madoqua that lives in the bushlands of eastern and southern Africa. Dik-diks stand about 30–40 cm at the shoulder, are 50–70 cm long, weigh 3–6 kg and can live for up to 10 years. Dik-diks are named for the alarm calls of the females. Dik Dik are an Italian beat-pop-rock band, established in the 1960s and still in activity. They were most popular in the late 1960s, when they released a string of hit singles with the contribution of renowned lyric-writer Mogol and songwriter Lucio Battisti, their greatest successes being Sognando la California and Senza luce, respectively cover of California Dreamin' by The Mamas and Papas and A Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum.
