Diane Chambers is a fictional character, portrayed by Shelley Long, of the American television show Cheers. Diane appeared as a main character of Cheers until the Season Five finale, "I Do, Adieu" . She appeared as a guest character in the series finale, "One for the Road", and in three episodes of Cheers spin-off, Frasier.
