Crwth

The crwth, also called a crowd, is an archaic stringed musical instrument, associated particularly with Welsh music, once widely played in Europe. Four examples have survived and are to be found in St Fagans National History Museum Cardiff, the National Museum of Wales, Aberystwyth, the Warrington Museum and Art Gallery, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
