He is best known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Studios films Thor, The Avengers, and Thor: The Dark World ; and as Kim Hyde in the Australian TV series Home and Away . He has also appeared in Star Trek, A Perfect Getaway, The Cabin in the Woods, Snow White and the Huntsman, Red Dawn and Rush .
