BRIDLEPATH
Bridle path
A bridle path, also bridleway, equestrian trail, horse riding path, bridle road, or horse trail, is a thoroughfare originally made, in places like the USA and parts of the British Empire, for human transport on horses. However, In England and Wales a bridle path is a route which can be legally used by horses riders, in addition to walkers, and since the 20th-century also by cyclists. In some areas bridle paths developed as transport routes where the terrain was so steep that the route was impassable by wheeled wagons and vehicles. The above text is a snippet from Wikipedia: Bridle path
