Anne of Avonlea is a 1987 Canadian television film. It is a sequel to the 1985 Anne of Green Gables film. The film dramatizes material from several books in the eight-novel "Anne" series by Lucy Maud Montgomery; they are Anne of Avonlea, Anne of the Island and Anne of Windy Poplars .
