Store brands are a line of products sold by a retailer under a single marketing identity. They bear a similarity to the concept of house brands, private label brands in the United States, own brands in the UK, and home brands in Australia and generic brands. They are distinct in that a store brand is managed solely by the retailer for sale in only a specific chain of store. Storebrand

Storebrand is a financial services company in Norway. By volume, the company's main activities are related to life insurance and pension savings. However, the company also has major divisions working on investments, banking and, since 2006, P&C insurance products. Through its acquisition of Swedish SPP from Handelsbanken i 2007, Storebrand now has a sizable division dedicated to the Swedish market for life insurance.
