Pistachio trees can be found in regions of Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, Tunisia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Italy, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and the United States, specifically in California. The tree produces a seed.
