Mammút is a 5-piece band from Reykjavik, Iceland formed in 2003 as a trio named ROK highlighting vocalist Kata . Initially the band was an all girl band. But early in 2004, the band expanded into 5 members by including guitarist Arnar Pétursson and drummer Andri Bjartur Jakobsson and adopting the new name Mammút.
